I joined the Army in August of 1997 immediately after high school to continue my passion for Information Technology and with the goal to attend college. I was a networking switching operator and supplied digital encrypted telecom and data links remotely to end-users. The Army taught me a lot about setting goals and how to achieve them, how to handle working under stress in a fast paced environment, and how to not only work as a team but also how to take initiative and work on my own.
-
After the Army I started to work in public sector as a Network Administrator in Marietta, GA and also attended college at Chattahoochee Tech and Kennesaw State. I graduated Chattahoochee Tech in August of 2008 with my Information Security Associate of Applied Science Degree and continue my education at Kennesaw State University with plans of graduating in the winter of 2011 and obtaining my Bachelor of Science in Information Security and Assurance.
